Obama Signs Bipartisan PACE Act

On Wednesday October 7th, President Obama signed the bipartisan PACE Act, which is a measure that makes the ACA expansion of the small group health insurance market optional for states.  The ACA was set to change the definition small employer from less than 100 employees to less than 50 employees starting in 2016.  There were fears that this change would increase health care premiums for small businesses.
